The SpatialDB indexing scheme is built on to of the SQL Server indexing scheme, which means that spatial indexes are self maintaining and do not degrade with multiple inserts and deletes.
Further SpatialDB spatial indexes can include any number of other data columns to allow for efficient data retrieval in cases where spatial data is categorized by other keys.
